Dr. Abhijit Gogi is the consultant laparoscopic surgeon and endoscopist at People Tree Hospitals @ Chris & Shamana Speciality Clinic. His areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery, gastroenterology, endoscopy, and colonoscopy. He completed his basic medical training from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College. Subsequently, he completed a Masters in General surgery from Bangalore Medical college. After post graduation, he worked in NHS, the UK for a year and then returned to India where he has been practicing since. He worked as Assistant Professor in General Surgery in MVJ Medical College, Bangalore. He completed a fellowship in Minimal access surgery from BGS Global Hospital, Bangalore. He went as an observer to Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad to learn Endoscopy and colonoscopy.
