A dedicated multi-faceted professional, 45 year old Dr. Krishnan Narayana Pisharody, the Senior Physician at AyurVAID Hospitals, Ramamurthynagar, has more than 23 yrs of experience. A B.A.M.S Graduate of the 1986 – 1993 batch from Ayurveda College Coimbatore, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu's Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai, he is one of the very few doctors with the knowledge of all the four dimensions of Ayurveda - Chikitsa, Jyothisha, Vedanta and Yoga. He specializes in treating Musculoskeletal disorders - Arthritis (OA, RA, Lupus, Gout, Psoriatic), Spondylosis (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar); Autism / delayed milestone; Stroke rehabilitation; Neurological conditions (Parkinson's); Pilonidal Sinus; Psoriasis, Urticaria Rash, Auto immune diseases, Acid Peptic Disorders; and Lifestyle disorders such as Diabetes: Pre-Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes & Diabetic Complications). Hypertension: High BP and Acidity. He has worked in different parts of the country including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat and Maharashtra, and has written more than 150 health articles in Mumbai edition of Mathrubhoomi daily (2004 – 05, 2009 - 2011), apart from presenting more than 40 health programs in All India Radio Kochi (FM) (2006 -08). He worked as coordinator for 24 episodes of Visual media programs about healthcare in a leading Malayalam TV Channel(2003 – 04); Presented two programs on healthcare in a leading Malayalam TV channel (2003- 2004); and Headed regular monthly medical checkup camp for BPO company employees over a period of more than one year.
