Dr. Antony Robert Charles is a Pediatric Surgeon & Pediatric Urologist who is currently practicing in Bangalore. His commitment to his profession caused him to be at the forefront of relief activities, leading a medical team in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands following the Tsunami. He has an active interest in ethical issues especially related to prenatal care and long-term care of children and the protection of child rights. As an active Pediatric Surgeon, Dr. Antony has authored many publications in peer-reviewed journals; and contributed chapters in the textbook Pediatric Surgery, edited by Dr. DK Gupta, New Delhi. He has also has co-written a chapter in the textbook of Pediatric Nephrology.
