Dr. Anup K Patki is currently working as full-time Senior Consultant at SHALBY Hospital, Surat. He was a fellow surgeon at Body Science and Metabolic disorder international medical center(BMIMC), Taiwan. After his MBBS graduation from Surat municipal institute of medical education and research and post graduation in surgery from National Board of Examinations, he was working as an Assistant professor at surat municipal institute of medical education and research and later as a Consultant surgeon at Baroda Heart and multispecialty hospital. He was awarded Fellowship in minimal access surgery from Association of minimal access surgeon of India and a recognized as Fellow of Indian association of surgical gastroenterologist and endo surgeon. Adding to his expertise in general and laparoscopic surgery, in his quest for knowledge he decided to learn more about obesity from an expert in bariatric and metabolic surgery, Dr. C.K.Huang, director at BMIMC, Taiwan.
