Sunita Chaurasia, MD, completed her basic medical training from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Mumbai (1996-2002) followed by a residency in ophthalmology at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow (2003-2006). She did a fellowship in cornea and anterior segment at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad (2006-2007) and joined as a consultant at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Her clinical areas of specialization are lamellar corneal surgeries, cataract, and infective keratitis, ocular surface and pediatric cornea. Her basic research interests are corneal endothelium and endothelial disorders. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, and presented papers and posters at international and national forums. She is a reviewer for several national and international journals like the BJO, Eye, IJO, Clinical ophthalmology.
