Dr. Sreekanth B. Shetty completed his MD (Internal Medicine) from the prestigious KEM Hospital and Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai with a Gold Medal in Internal Medicine in the year 2000. Thereafter, he completed his DM (Cardiology) from J.J. Hospital and Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Dr. Shetty is a well-known Interventional Cardiologist with a decade of experience in Cardiology. Before joining Sakra World Hospital, he has worked at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Heart Centre/VIVUS, Bangalore and Columbia Asia Referral Hospital and Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road, Bangalore. Dr. Shetty is an expert in Complex Coronary Angioplasties, Primary Angioplasty in Acute Myocardial Infarction, Acute Stroke Intervention, Permanent Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation, Heart Failure Device Implantation(CRT), Congenital Heart Disease Intervention like device closures and Valvuloplasties, Carotid, Renal and Peripheral Vascular Interventions and Venous Interventions like IVC Filter Placement and Venoplasties.
