Dr. N R Suresh is graduated from Bangalore Medical College, Joined Central Health service and worked in various capacity, Retired as Senior Regional Regional Director Ministry of Health Govt of India in the year 2014. Earlier to that worked as Senior Chief Medical Officer (HAG) Central Govt Health scheme for 25 years with rich clinical experience seeing patients from pediatric to Geriatric age group. Also worked as Lead Consultant Maternal and Child health, under National Health Mission, Karnataka. He has following qualifications - MBBS, DCH (Diploma in Child Health, DNB (Diplomate of National Board of Examination in Family Medicine, DNHE (Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education, CCEBDM (Certificate course in Evidence-based Diabetes Management, & WHO fellowship Diploma in STDs/AIDS (Bangkok). Also actively involved in Public health Activities monitoring and implementation of various National health programs. Has participated in various media Radio-TV for health promotion activities. Active Member of Indian Epilepsy Association spreading awareness about epilepsy among the community-dispelling myths and misconception and trying to remove the stigma attached to condition to bring epilepsy out of Shadow.
