Have undertaken several research on road traffic injuries, prehospital care, drunken driving, helmet usage and costing of injuries. Actively involved in a campaign against drunken driving in South India. Have conducted several school-based programmes for suicide prevention. Been resource person for training the lay people in counseling a step towards suicide prevention.
