Asiclopam Tablet is used in the treatment of short term anxiety, alcohol withdrawal and epilepsy.

How to use Asiclopam Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Asiclopam Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Asiclopam Tablet works
Asiclopam Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Common Sleepiness, Uncoordinated body movements, Slurred speech, Dizziness, Fatigue, Memory impairment, Irritability, Headache, Dryness in mouth, Depression, Constipation.

If you are taking Asiclopam for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks. It may become less effective over the time. It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Asiclopam, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.
