Alocet XL 5mg/75mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Alocet XL Tablet
Alocet XL 5mg/75mg Tablet is used in the treatment of cough.
How to use Alocet XL Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alocet XL 5mg/75mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Alocet XL 5mg/75mg Tablet works
Alocet XL 5mg/75mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and ambroxol that relieve cold symptoms. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
Common Stomach upset, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Fatigue, Sleepiness, Allergic reaction.
