CAUTION
Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability.
CAUTION
Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Adom Tablet SR
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR is to be taken empty stomach.Take Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR 30 minutes before food.
How Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR works
Adom 30 mg/20 mg Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Omeprazole which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Common Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Flatulence.
