Antrenyl 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Antrenyl 5mg Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
It is not known whether Antrenyl 5mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
There is limited information available on the use of Antrenyl 5mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Antrenyl Tablet
Antrenyl 5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of pain due to smooth muscle spasmIt is used in pain due to intestinal and stomach ulcers.
How to use Antrenyl Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Antrenyl 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Antrenyl Tablet works
Antrenyl 5mg Tablet action is achieved via a dual mechanism: (1) a specific anticholinergic effect (antimuscarinic) at the acetylcholine-receptor sites and (2) a direct effect upon smooth muscle (musculotropic).
Common Dry mouth, Excessive thirst, Arrhythmia, Reduced bronchial secretions, Increased heart rate, Palpitations, Dry skin, Photophobia, Loss of accommodation, Slow heart rate, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Dilatation of pupil, Difficulty in urination, Constipation.
