How to use Acelast Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Acelast 50mg/5ml Syrup is to be taken with food.

How Acelast Syrup works
Acelast 50mg/5ml Syrup is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.

Expert advice for Acelast Syrup
It is better to take Acelast in the evening around 7-8 pm for protection against asthma symptoms throughout the night. Acelast will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Not as effective as steroid inhalers for asthma. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with the kidney, liver or heart disease, or have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted. Taking Acelast can reduce the requirement of steroids by 50%.
