Asthelite PD Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Asthelite PD Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Choline Theophyllinate is used in the treatment of asthma prevention and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.
How to use Choline Theophyllinate
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Asthelite PD Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Asthelite PD Syrup with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
How Asthelite PD Syrup works
Choline Theophyllinate is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways. This opens the airways and makes breathing easier.
Common Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Abdominal upset, Restlessness.
Expert advice for Choline Theophyllinate
It is better to take Choline Theophyllinate in the evening around 7-8 pm for protection against asthma symptoms throughout the night. Choline Theophyllinate will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Not as effective as steroid inhalers for asthma. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with the kidney, liver or heart disease, or have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted. Taking Choline Theophyllinate can reduce the requirement of steroids by 50%.

This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until you are sure you can perform such activities safely.
Limit alcoholic beverages.
Avoid smoking and smoke prone places.
Do not use terbutaline if you are allergic to terbutaline or to other drugs such as epinephrine, albuterol.
Consult your doctor before taking terbutaline if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.

Terbutaline may cause hyperglycemia and increased heart rate. It is not known to cause other side effects mentioned. However, consult your doctor if you experience any of the side effects when taking Terbutaline.
