Atepres 50mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Atepres 50mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Atepres 50mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Atepres 50mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Atepres 50mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.
There is limited information available on the use of Atepres 50mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Atepres Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atepres 50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Atepres Tablet works
Atepres 50mg Tablet is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.

Expert advice for Atepres Tablet
Atepres helps reduce blood pressure and lower heart rate. Do not miss doses. In case you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible up to 8 hrs before next dose. Don’t double the dose. Stopping Atepres suddenly can cause your blood pressure to rise suddenly, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. You may feel dizzy during the initial few days. You may also have fatigue and headaches. Notify your doctor if these symptoms persist for long. Can hide symptoms of low blood sugar if you're diabetic. If you take insulin or other anti-diabetic medications, you may have to check your blood sugar level more closely. Know how to check pulse daily and blood pressure (BP) twice a week, and teach your family as well. Notify your doctor if slow pulse, troubled breathing, wheezing, cold hands and feet, dizziness, light-headedness, confusion, depression.
