Uses of Ambroxol
Ambroxol is used in the treatment of cough.

How to use Ambroxol
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lyflox A 400 mg/60 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if it causes an upset stomach.Avoid Lyflox A 400 mg/60 mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you have a history of severe allergic reactions of skin (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or Lyell syndrome).
