CAUTION
Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.
PROBABLY SAFE
Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
SAFE
Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
CAUTION
Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of acidity, nausea and vomiting.
How to use Acidom O Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.
How Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet works
Acidom O 4 mg/150 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ondansetron and ranitidine which prevent nausea and vomiting that may occur during/after surgery or due to stomach ulcers. Ondansetron is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that can trigger nausea and vomiting. Ranitidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Common Diarrhoea, Constipation, Headache, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Muscle pain, Dryness in mouth, Flushing of skin.
