Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

How to use Astin CV Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet works
Astin CV 10mg/75mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel which decrease cholesterol and prevent heart attack. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medication which prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
Common Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Indigestion, Constipation, Headache, Dizziness, Muscle pain, Weakness, Increased glucose level in blood, Bruising, Nose bleed, Hematoma, Gastric bleeding, Black/dark colored stools, Increased liver enzymes.
