Alatro Tablet is used to prevent asthma.
How to use Alatro Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alatro Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Alatro Tablet works
Alatro Tablet works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers that may cause symptoms of asthma and allergies.
Common Headache, Rash, Dryness in mouth, Nausea, Drowsiness, Anemia, Abdominal pain, Itching, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Stomach discomfort.
Expert advice for Alatro Tablet
Inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver diseases as seratrodast treatment can lead to an elevation in the levels of liver enzymes.
Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant. Seratrodast should be avoided during breastfeeding.
Do not take any anti-inflammatory analgesics (painkiller), cephalosporin antibiotics and drugs that have been reported to cause hemolytic anemia, along with seratrodast.

Alatro belongs to a class of medication called thromboxane A2/ prostaglandin endoperoxide receptor antagonist. Alatro blocks the broncho-constrictor effects of certain chemicals (prostaglandins) in the body. Alatro also decreases the inflammation by antagonising the thromboxane A2 receptor
