CAUTION
Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
SAFE
Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is recommended.
CAUTION
Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Telsar Beta Tablet ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is to be taken with food.
How Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER works
Telsar Beta 25 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Metoprolol. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
Common Headache, Weakness, Dizziness, Cold extremities, Slow heart rate, Increased potassium level in blood, Numbness of extremity, Decreased blood pressure.
