Bricarex 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Bricarex 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Bricarex 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of asthma.
How to use Bricarex Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bricarex 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Bricarex 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet works
Bricarex 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Guaifenesin and terbutaline. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Vomiting, Dizziness, Headache, Rash, Urticaria, Tremor, Increased heart rate.
