How Revac-B Injection works
Hepatitis B is a vaccine. It helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness, but it does stimulate the body's immune system to produce antibodies to protect against any future infections.

Side Effects:

Common Neuropathy, Pain, Paralysis, Abdominal pain, Anaphylactic reaction, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), Convulsion, Diarrhoea, Dizziness, Fatigue, Fever, Headache, Decreased blood pressure, Itching, Feeling of discomfort, Meningitis, Muscle pain, Nausea, Rash, Skin redness, Vomiting, Weakness.

Inform your doctor before taking the vaccine if you have a weakened immune system due to cancer, use of anti-cancer drugs, dialysis or HIV infection.
Inform your doctor before taking the vaccine if you are old, obese or if you smoke.
Tell your doctor if you fainted during earlier vaccination with hepatitis B or if you have problems with blood clotting or if you have hepatitis B infection or live in an area prone to hepatitis B infection.
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery as the vaccine may make you feel dizzy.

The Aluminium Hydroxide should be used only for occasional relief from increased stomach acid. Do not take it for more than 2 weeks, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor. Avoid Aluminium Hydroxide, if  you show signs of appendicitis or inflammed bowel (such as lower abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, nausea, vomiting). Please consult your doctor. Thiomersal belongs to the class of medications called as preservatives. It is used in minuscule quantity in some vaccines (e.g. tetanus and pertussis (DTP), diphtheria and tetanus toxoids (DT)) and works by preventing bacterial and fungal growth.
