Cefixime is used in the treatment of bacterial infectionsIt is used for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, ear, bone, blood, abdomen, genital and lungs (pneumonia). It is also used to prevent infections after surgery.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cefi L 400 mg/500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Cefi L 400 mg/500 mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
