Coldact Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney

Coldact Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Coldact Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Coldact Capsule may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

Coldact Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Coldact Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Coldact Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

Coldact Capsule is used in the treatment of common cold symptoms with fever.

How to use Coldact Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Coldact Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Coldact Capsule works
Coldact Capsule is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and chlorpheniramine which relieve cold symptoms. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Pseudoephedrine is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Allergic reaction, Sleepiness, Headache, Dizziness, Nervousness, Restlessness, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping).
