Piza-DSR Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation
CAUTION

Piza-DSR Capsule should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

Piza-DSR Capsule may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

CAUTION
Kidney
CAUTION

Piza-DSR Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Piza-DSR Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

Piza-DSR Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Piza-DSR Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Piza-DSR Capsule is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux).

How to use Piza-DSR Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Piza-DSR Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.

How Piza-DSR Capsule works
Piza-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Side Effects:

Common Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Flatulence, Dryness in mouth, Dizziness, Headache.
