SAFE
Septran C Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.There may be a possibility of skin rash in the baby
It is not known whether Septran C Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
CAUTION
Septran C Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Septran C Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Monitoring of potassium levels is advised in these patients. Use of Septran C Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

How Septran C Tablet works
Septran C Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
