Uses of Unidrea Capsule
Unidrea 500mg Capsule is used in the treatment of sickle cell anemia.

How to use Unidrea Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Unidrea 500mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Unidrea Capsule works
Hydroxycarbamide causes inhibition of DNA synthesis during the S-phase of cell division by acting as a ribonucleotide reductase inhibitor resulting to cell death. It is S-phase specific.

Side Effects:

Common Megaloblastic anemia, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Oligospermia (low sperm count), Azoospermia (absence of sperms).
