Calcinase 2200IU Nasal Spray may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Calcinase 2200IU Nasal Spray is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Calcinase 2200IU Nasal Spray alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Uses of Calcinase Nasal Spray
Calcinase 2200IU Nasal Spray is used in the treatment of post menopausal osteoporosis and increased calcium levels in blood due to cancer.
How to use Calcinase Nasal Spray
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray away from the cartilage diving the two sides of your nose and toward the sides of your nostril. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat in the other nostril.
How Calcinase Nasal Spray works
Calcinase 2200IU Nasal Spray has the structure similar to calcitonin, a natural hormone that prevents bone loss.

Do not take calcitonin if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to calcitonin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicines.Avoid using calcitonin in condition such as low levels of calcium in blood (hypocalcemia).Calcitonin is not recommended in children under 18 years of age. Do not drive or use any tools or machines, if you feel dizzy, tired, have a headache or get disturbed vision after taking calcitonin.Long term treatment with calcitonin for osteoporosis and osteoarthritis have shown an increase in the risk of cancer in clinical trials.Calcitonin is recommended to be taken at bedtime to reduce the side effects like urge to vomit (nausea) and vomiting that are generally experienced at the beginning of the treatment.
