How to use Ambroxol
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Avoid Doxylab 7.5mg/100mg Capsule with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
Common Constipation, Diarrhoea, Difficulty in urination, Heartburn, Itching, Nausea, Rash.

Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you have a history of severe allergic reactions of skin (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or Lyell syndrome).
Do not continue taking ambroxol and contact your doctor immediately, if you notice any damage to skin or mucosa (moist tissue that lines the inner side of nose, mouth, lungs, and the urinary and digestive tracts).Â

Your doctor has prescribed Doxycycline to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Take Doxycycline with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach and acid reflux. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take calcium, antacids or iron at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Doxycycline. Discontinue Doxycycline and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
