Covance-AT Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Covance-AT Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Covance-AT Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Covance-AT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Covance-AT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.

Covance-AT Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Covance-AT Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Covance-AT Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
How Covance-AT Tablet works
Covance-AT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atenolol and Losartan. Atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Together, they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
Common Nausea, Altered taste, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Headache, Weakness, Dizziness, Cold extremities, Stomach upset, Increased potassium level in blood, Slow heart rate, Numbness of extremity, Decreased blood pressure.
