Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Larger doses or prolonged use of Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby

Driving

Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney

Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver
CAUTION

Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of common cold symptoms.

How to use Paracip CPM Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet works
Paracip CPM 5 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and paracetamol which relieve cold symptoms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.
