Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule
Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule is used in the treatment of nasal congestion and dry cough.
How to use Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule works
Chupp D Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Guaifenesin, dextromethorphan and phenylephrine which relieve cough and cold symptoms. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Vomiting, Stomach upset, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Headache, Rash, Itching, Urticaria, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping).
