Oripect CC Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Oripect CC Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Oripect CC Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Oripect CC Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Oripect CC Tablet
Oripect CC Tablet is used in the treatment of dry cough.

How to use Oripect CC Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Oripect CC Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Oripect CC Tablet works
Oripect CC Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Pseudoephedrine, Dextromethorphan and Triprolidine which relieve dry cough. Pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan and triprolidine which relieve dry cough. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Triprolidine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Stomach discomfort, Nervousness, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Restlessness, Dizziness, Headache, Sleepiness.
