Coform Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Coform Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Coform Syrup
Coform Syrup is used in the treatment of dry cough.

How to use Coform Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Coform Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Coform Syrup works
Coform Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan which relieve dry cough. Pseudoephedrine, chlorpheniramine and dextromethorphan which relieve dry cough. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Stomach discomfort, Sleepiness, Nervousness, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Restlessness, Dizziness, Headache.
