Contrapill Duo Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Contrapill Duo Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
SAFE
Contrapill Duo Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Contrapill Duo Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. This medicine may be started with a low dose and then increased with caution by your doctor.
Contrapill Duo Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Contrapill Duo Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Contrapill Duo Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Contrapill Duo Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Contrapill Duo Tablet works
Contrapill Duo Tablet increases contractions of the uterus to cause abortion. It can also prevent post-delivery bleeding due to poor contraction of the uterus.
Common Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Uterine bleeding , Infection following abortion, Uterine cramps.

If you are taking Contrapill duo orally, then it is best taken with food and do not take antacids that contain magnesium along with it. Ask your doctor for help in selecting a suitable antacid. Take Contrapill duo only as prescribed by the doctor because in some cases, miscarriages caused by Contrapill duo are likely to be incomplete which may result in serious medical complications, leading to hospitalization, surgery and possible infertility. Notify the doctor immediately if excessive bleeding occurs.
