How Polycap Capsule works
Polycap Capsule is a combination of five medicines: Simvastatin, ramipril, atenolol, hydrochlorothiazide and aspirin which lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart diseases and stroke. Simvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Ramipril and atenolol are blood pressure lowering medicines which work by relaxing the blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which further reduces blood pressure by removing extra water and electrolytes from the body through urine. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medicine which prevents the formation of harmful blood clots.
