Omedom Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Omedom Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Omedom Capsule may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability.

Omedom Capsule is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux).

How to use Omedom Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Omedom Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.Take Omedom Capsule 30 minutes before food.

How Omedom Capsule works
Omedom Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Omeprazole which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Side Effects:

Common Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Flatulence.
