Cedate F Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Cedate F Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Cedate F Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
SAFE
Cedate F Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Cedate F Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. This medicine may be started with a low dose and then increased with caution by your doctor.
Cedate F Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cedate F Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Cedate F Tablet is used in medical abortion and post-delivery bleeding.
How to use Cedate F Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cedate F Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Cedate F Tablet works
Cedate F Tablet increases contractions of the uterus to cause abortion. It can also prevent post-delivery bleeding due to poor contraction of the uterus.
Common Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Uterine bleeding , Infection following abortion, Uterine cramps.
Expert advice for Cedate F Tablet
If you are taking Cedate f orally, then it is best taken with food and do not take antacids that contain magnesium along with it. Ask your doctor for help in selecting a suitable antacid. Take Cedate f only as prescribed by the doctor because in some cases, miscarriages caused by Cedate f are likely to be incomplete which may result in serious medical complications, leading to hospitalization, surgery and possible infertility. Notify the doctor immediately if excessive bleeding occurs.
