Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Coxwin Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet can cause fits, mental health problems and optic neuritis (inflammation of the optic nerve that may cause loss of vision.) This may affect your driving ability.

Coxwin Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of tuberculosis.

How to use Coxwin Kid Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Coxwin Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Avoid Coxwin Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

How Coxwin Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet works
Coxwin Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Rifampicin and isoniazid which treat tuberculosis. Rifampicin works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by TB bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Isoniazid prevents the TB-causing bacteria from forming their own protective covering. Together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Rash, Fever, Sweating, Dark colored urine, Salivation, Teary eyes, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand), Increased liver enzymes, Jaundice, Incresed sputum production.
