Lactation

Ramey D 5 mg/1.5 mg Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Ramey D 5 mg/1.5 mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

How to use Ramey D Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ramey D 5 mg/1.5 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Ramey D 5 mg/1.5 mg Capsule works
Ramey D 5 mg/1.5 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Ramipril and indapamide which lower blood pressure effectively. Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently. Indapamide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Indigestion, Headache, Fatigue, Dizziness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Dry cough, Sinus inflammation, Bronchitis, Shortness of breath, Skin rash, Chest pain, Cramps, Muscle pain, Increased potassium level in blood, Rhinitis, Weakness, Flu-like symptoms, Abdominal pain, Peripheral edema, Nervousness, Hypertonia.
