WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Zedox LB Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Zedox LB Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Zedox LB Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
There is limited information available on the use of Zedox LB Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Zedox LB Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zedox LB Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Uses of Doxycycline
Doxycycline is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
How to use Doxycycline
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Avoid Zedox LB Capsule with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
How Zedox LB Capsule works
Doxycycline is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Expert advice for Doxycycline
Your doctor has prescribed Doxycycline to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Take Doxycycline with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach and acid reflux. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take calcium, antacids or iron at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Doxycycline. Discontinue Doxycycline and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.

Avoid taking Lactobacillus along with steroids (medications that weaken the immune system) as they might increase the chances of getting sick. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant.
