How Uniprest Tablet works
Uniprest Tablet increases contractions of the uterus to cause abortion. It can also prevent post-delivery bleeding due to poor contraction of the uterus.
How P 2 Capsule works
P 2 Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Pantoprazole and Itopride which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Itopride is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach.

If you are taking Uniprest orally, then it is best taken with food and do not take antacids that contain magnesium along with it. Ask your doctor for help in selecting a suitable antacid. Take Uniprest only as prescribed by the doctor because in some cases, miscarriages caused by Uniprest are likely to be incomplete which may result in serious medical complications, leading to hospitalization, surgery and possible infertility. Notify the doctor immediately if excessive bleeding occurs.
