Glipi DM Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Glipi DM Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.

CAUTION
Kidney
CAUTION

Glipi DM Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glipi DM Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Glipi DM Plus Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Glipi DM Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glipi DM Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Glipi DM Plus Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

How to use Otus Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Otus Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glipi DM Plus Tablet is to be taken with food.Glipi DM Plus Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach

How Otus Syrup works
Otus Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan which relieve dry cough. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

How Glipi DM Plus Tablet works
Glipi DM Plus Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Glipizide and Metformin. Glipizide is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide which works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Loss of appetite, Headache.

Common Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), Altered taste, Nausea, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Headache, Upper respiratory tract infection.
