Domperidone (40mg) + Pantoprazole (NA)

CAUTION
Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Geripan DSR Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Geripan DSR Injection should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Geripan DSR Injection may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
CAUTION
Geripan DSR Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Geripan DSR Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Geripan DSR Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Geripan DSR Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

How Geripan DSR Injection works
Geripan DSR Injection is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
