Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Diflumox Eye Drop may make you feel dizzy or light-headed, you may experience a sudden, transient loss of vision, or you may faint for a short period. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

There is limited information available on the use of Diflumox Eye Drop in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

Diflumox Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Diflumox Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Diflumox Eye Drop in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

Uses of Moxifloxacin
Moxifloxacin is used in the treatment of bacterial infectionsIt is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Moxifloxacin
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Diflumox Eye Drop works
Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.

Your doctor has prescribed Moxifloxacin to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinue Moxifloxacin and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Your doctor has prescribed Difluprednate for the relief of post-operative eye pain and inflammation. Do not use Difluprednate for more than the prescribed duration (2 weeks, post-operative) as it may cause glaucoma or secondary infection. Notify your doctor if you recently had herpes or chicken pox. Take care to prevent contact of eye dispenser with eye, eyelid, eyelashes, or finger to avoid infection. Avoid wearing contact lenses after surgery and while using Difluprednate.
