Depramine 2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Depramine 2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.If you feel dizzy, tired, have blurred vision, have difficulty concentrating, or have other effects such as confusion, disorientation or your depression gets worse with Depramine 2mg Tablet, do not drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Depramine 2mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.Caution should be exercised in patients with underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.

How to use Depramine Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Depramine 2mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Depramine Tablet works
Depramine 2mg Tablet increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.
Common Sleepiness, Blurred vision, Dryness in mouth, Difficulty in urination, Constipation, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Weight gain, Increased heart rate.

The main dose should be taken at night as this drug may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. It can take 4 to 6 weeks for Depramine to start working. You should continue the treatment for at least 6 months after you feel better to stop depression from coming back. If your doctor asks you to stop Depramine, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly. Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may decrease alertness.
