Doxoril M 800 mg/10 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of asthma.

How to use Doxoril M Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Doxoril M 800 mg/10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Doxoril M 800 mg/10 mg Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

How Doxoril M 800 mg/10 mg Tablet works
Doxoril M 800 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Doxofylline and montelukast which prevent future attacks of asthma. Doxofylline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist which blocks the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach pain / epigastric pain, Headache, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Irritability, Increased heart rate, Flu-like symptoms.
