How Imaze Eye Drop works
Imaze Eye Drop is a combination of nine medicines: Naphazoline, Methylcellulose, Chlorpheniramine, Boric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate, Menthol and Camphor. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Methylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Boric acid and zinc sulphate monohydrate are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation. Sodium chloride is a purified salt solution which works by drawing out water from swollen cornea. Menthol and camphor provide a cooling effect.
