Fomtaz Disk Inhaler may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Fomtaz Disk Inhaler is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Fomtaz Disk Inhaler may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Fomtaz Disk Inhaler is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Fomtaz Disk Inhaler may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Fomtaz Disk Inhaler
Fomtaz Disk Inhaler is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.
How to use Fomtaz Disk Inhaler
Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are breathing in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release the medication and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the doctor.Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.

Fomtaz Disk Inhaler is a long-acting bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and makes breathing easier.
Common Tremor, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Headache, Dryness in mouth, Palpitations, Restlessness, Muscle cramp.

Do not use formoterol inhalation to treat an asthma attack that has already begun.
Do not use this drug, if  you are allergic to formoterol.
Never place a capsule in the mouthpiece of the inhaler.
Consult your doctor before taking formoterol, If  you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breast feeding.
It should be taken as an inhaler or nebulizer after clearly following instructions of the doctor and the instructions given in the patient information leaflet in the medication box.
