Lametec 25mg Tablet DT may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lametec 25mg Tablet DT is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Monitor the baby for rash, sleepiness or poor sucking. Also, get the platelet count and liver function test done periodically.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Lametec 25mg Tablet DT can cause dizziness and double vision. This may affect your ability to drive.

Uses of Lametec Tablet DT
Lametec 25mg Tablet DT is used in the treatment of seizures and mania.
How to use Lametec Tablet DT
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Lametec 25mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Lametec Tablet DT works
Lametec 25mg Tablet DT is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Common Skin rash, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Dry mouth, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Sleepiness, Joint pain, Dizziness, Back pain, Irritability, Weight loss, Agitation, Fatigue, Diarrhoea, Tremor.
